Being a "Military Brat" I grew up all over the world. The longest place I've ever lived was the Mississippi Gulf Coast, so I call that "home."
When I married my husband, Robert, 15 years ago, we moved to his home town of Joplin, MO. Joplin is also where our daughter, Ashlyn, was born 11 years ago. They are both my life!
I have a BA in Speech Communication from Missouri Southern State University c/o 2001, but wish I had known what I know now and had gone into Fashion Merchandising.....sigh.

When I'm not shopping, baking or creating; I enjoy reading "trashy" historical romance novels, having lunch and cocktails with girlfriends, decorating my house for whatever season or holiday is approaching, exercising at the tennis club, lounging by the pool on a sunny hot day, reading fashion magazines, watching recorded episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills/Orange County/New York, and working/volunteering at my daughter's school.
And I do it ALL while wearing my fabulous heels!
